Help for Earthquake-Stricken Areas

Since the 7.8 and 7.4 magnitude earthquakes struck Turkey and Syria in February 2023, Global Humanitaria has been working to provide aid to several of the affected areas.

Specifically, in the Hatay region, the most impacted by this natural disaster, which caused over 50,000 deaths in southern Turkey and nearly 6,000 in northern and western Syria.

Global Humanitaria has focused much of its aid on the city of Samandag, a town with over 120,000 inhabitants, where the population has settled in precarious tent camps.

Highlighted Projects:
Samandag: Distribution of food, clothing, hygiene products, and toys to over 300 families and a school. Organization of activities and workshops aimed at improving children’s mental health.
Iskenderun: Delivery of food, hygiene products, and toys to over 100 families and a school.
Antioch: Activities and workshops to improve the mental health of children aged 6 to 10.
Adiyaman: Provision of mattresses, flashlights, food, and hygiene products to over 300 families.
Adana: Donation of medical supplies to the Adana medical center.
